Gastronomy is an important part of the local culture and the locals are proud of their Caribbean cuisine. Besides tasting it, what could be better than learning how to prepare seafood, coconut rice and other specialties from Cartagena’s cuisine?
The cooking class takes place in a colonial house in the historic center of the city or in Gethsemane. The chef will give us a presentation about the ingredients before teaching us how to prepare typical dishes. The class lasts approximately two hours. Then, let’s eat together.
Important: Be physically fit to walk (not canes or wheelchairs). As it is a market, strong fish smells may be present at the beginning of the tour. Inform beforehand if any passenger is allergic to seafood or any special food.
